Job Description:
Cathweld Construction Company Limited, a leading Engineering Firm based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Deputy General Manager in the Tender & Contract Management department.
Responsibilities:
1) Tender Management:
- Pursue, analyze, and prepare comprehensive tender submissions.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tender documents.
- Strategically evaluate opportunities, making informed decisions on tender pursuits.
2) Contract/Legal papers management:
- Each project undertaken by CCCL has been bound and followed by a legal contract between CCCL and client. As a Contract Manager, you will need to follow up from inception till end of a project.
- Make contract papers, read along the entire contracts for legal or financial loopholes of the project
- Document the contract papers, mails from client
- Keep track of mails, orders or decisions undertaken by clients through online, phone or offline medium and coordinate with contract papers of project regularly
3) Billing and Submission:
- Oversee the preparation of running bills and ensure timely submission to clients.
- Maintain meticulous records of billing activities for transparent financial reporting.
4) Coordination:
- Regularly coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Facilitate effective communication between the Tender & Contract Management department and the Head Office.
5) Due Bill Pursuit:
- Take charge of pursuing outstanding bills to optimize cash flow and financial health.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve any billing discrepancies.
6) Professional Networking:
- Build and nurture a valuable professional network within the industry.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at industry events and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Engineering background will be preferred.
- Any professional training/hands on experience regarding corporate law will be given preferrance
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Tender, Bill preparation and Contractual legal management work
- Proven experience in tender and contract management within the construction, engineering or associated industry.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Salary:
40-45K
